Someone recently asked me how long it took me to write my first book.
Honestly, it took a long time… not because I was writing the whole time, but because I kept overthinking everything. I had ideas, but I kept second-guessing myself and never fully committing to finishing anything.
Eventually, I stopped overthinking and just focused on writing. Once I did that, the book came together much more naturally. From the moment I truly focused and committed to it, it took me about a month and a half to finish my first book.
That said, every book is different. Some take longer, some come together faster. It really depends on the length of the book, the topic, and how clear your ideas are when you start.
